How to Fix the Cracks in a Stone Foundation
First, this is not a job to tackle alone.
Water can come through the walls around the mortar joints. Simply re-mortaring is a very temporary fix.
- The water and moisture are still effecting the wall from the outside in. Eventually (and this doesn’t take very long) the wall will crack again, allowing water and mold inside of your home.
Our system protects your home by re-enforcing the stone and mortar (using a wire-based system). This prevents future cracking and keeps moisture at bay.
